What I ate and where it came from

3 8inch baguette sections - Duboce park cafe
Pint? Blackberries - Corona heights
1 lime - compost bin
1 lemon - sfai
1 orange - mission?
1/2 turkey bacon avo sandwich - valencia
3 little apples - black pt

What I did

10 mile morning run - foraged first 5, met up with viv, finished through the park
worked on my feet all day builing pony walls for the new school year. blew the fuse in the shop from using the table saw and bandsaw simultaneously.
10 mile run from work to hit some fruit foraging spots and ending by Dolores to try to find something caloric to eat.
when I got home I put the half eaten pizza I found in the fridge, cleaned the fruits I found in compost bins, and am resting my tired feey to write this for you.
something that surprised me about today is the amount of food I saw and said no to.

Watch says I burned 3,021 "active calories" from all my exploits today. I recon I've eaten a pretty good 2,000 calorie day.

How I'm feeling (play by play updates I typed during the day)

Woke up hungry
Berries and foraged orange on the run
In the bus eating bread feel like I need to throw up
Made it just in time to the not stale baguette in front of Duboce park cafe. The trash collector asked if I was getting bread to feed the birds. I said it was for me and he laughed.
Most of the missions trash had already been picked up. So I am probably best off going late at night.
Vivi biked with me and we had some nice chats and also she took my backpack which was so helpful.
Foraged some berries from corona heights that are one of the latest season patches.
Feel lightheaded and almost fainted
Ate berries and gathered blueberries. The ones from this morning had started to ferment! Need to beat them right wnow at bfort do time.
Ran into Geoff on 17th on my second run. He told me to go to the fruit market on Alemany after the flea market. Dumpster diving heaven.
My apple spot was two weeks too late. I found a few good size ones on the tree and took the lower ones. I might need some apples later. I gathered the least squishy apples from the ground.
My fig spot is about 4 weeks too early. Little baby figs only! But I spotted a lemon tree over the fence and secured two big ones.
The strangest thing is I’ve just run 20 miles today and I don’t feel hungry. I feel like eating would make me feel sick. (This was just after finishing the second run. My thoughts changed once I ate.)
Dang that the sandwich was awesome.

super exhausted but I'll try to figure out how to include images tomorrow!
