Tinkering School Mars Mission
The Tinkering School Mars Mission project was started in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and evolved into a program Making Affordable Robotics for Students. I had the honor of working with other young people and adult collaborators to create two summer camps, one museum exhibit, six museum workshops, and 4 distinct robot iterations from 2020-2023. I floated between the roles of robot designer, project manager, floor sweeper, materials organizer, banana-in-resident, and camp captain. The team is still kicking ass developing low-cost robotics platforms for students. Find out more about the TSMM program:TSMM home

CityLab
This piece was a physical exploration of different layers of San Francisco that piqued my interest in the Winter of 2022. I am still obsessed with the integration of nature into cities, and the ephemeral nature of urban infrastructure.

Cal Studies
A 12-week course on water in California took me in its tide. Here’s some pictures I took from reservoirs and landscapes of California. Specifically of note is our moment at the Alabama Gates, the huge amount of water that flooded Owen’s Valley, (re)created Tulare Lake, and gushed from the O'Shaughnessy Dam.

Foreageathon
I had an idea: run the perimeter of the city, fueled on the city’s trash. So I spent a week dumpster diving and, after a week, ran 30 miles for my birthday, which still remains one of my favorite days ever.
